Your Upper Room retreat experience is personalized to suit your needs. You may request a private retreat (no direction) to simply "be" in solitude and holy leisure. Simple meals can be prepared in your room. The evening meal is served and eaten in solitude. You may feel the need for spiritual direction throughout your retreat time. Arrangements can be made for daily or occasional direction appointments.

We are close to Centrepointe Park for lovely meditative walks. There is a chapel and library for your use within our Home of Prayer. The Upper Room retreat offers you the gift of prayerful silence, helping you to find your inner true self - "the centrepointe" - where God lives within you. Our prayerful hope is that all persons who pass through our Home of Prayer will go forth as "mystic-missionaries" into their homes, families and neighbourhoods to "Circle the City with Love".
